Dolly Parton is officially in her rocker era and we’re seriously here for it.
After being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Jolene singer insisted that she intends to take the honor seriously, and has been hard at work on a ‘rock album’.
Despite being around for decades, the 76-year-old revealed that she has been seriously starstruck with some of the famous faces that she has been in talks with for the record.
We can’t imagine the country icon getting starstruck by anyone, but she teased three huge names who gave her a ‘thrill’.
‘I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but I’m making a rock album. If I’m going to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I’m going to earn it,’ she declared. ‘I’m going have a lot of the rock singers on it.
‘I’m hoping to have Debbie Harry and Pat Benatar sing on it.’

When questioned on who she was last starstruck by, she added to People Magazine: ‘I’ve been starstruck a lot lately.
‘I’ve been talking to Sir Elton John, Mick Jagger and Debbie Harry. Every time I speak to one of them, it’s just such a thrill.’
Dolly was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at the Microsoft Theater in LA earlier this month, beside other huge names including Eminem and Lionel Richie.

The music legend initially tried to remove herself as a nominee earlier this year, explaining that she didn’t think that she had earned the right to be included.
‘Dolly here! Even though I am extremely flattered and grateful to be nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I don’t feel that I have earned that right,’ she said at the time.
‘I really do not want votes to be split because of me, so I must respectfully bow out.’

She later changed her mind and accepted the honor ‘gracefully’, vowing to work even harder and ‘live up to’ the accolade.
During her acceptance speech at this month’s ceremony, she said: ‘I want to thank the Hall of Fame and all the people out there through all of these years.
‘I’ve been doing it all my life and I do love it. I’m very humbled by this.’
