*Warning: Contains spoilers for Loki and The Mandalorian.*
Disney Plus is gearing up for an action-packed 2023, and it’s done so by releasing a new teaser featuring new footage of Loki season 2.
The sneak preview, which also had new footage from the upcoming series Secret Invasion and The Mandalorian season 3, was released earlier today (December 19).
Loki was renewed for season 2 in July 2021, on the same day that the final episode, For All Time, Always, was released on the streaming platform.
In the finale episode, Loki was no longer recognised by Morbius (Owen Wilson) or B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) and was left stranded in an alternate timeline.
At Disney’s recent D23 convention, Hiddleston and Wilson promised fans that things wouldn’t be getting any easier for him.
‘Loki is back in the Time Variance Authority and Mobius doesn’t seem to know who he is,’ Hiddleston said.

Wilson then added: ‘It’s a little bit like that Talking Heads song… And in season 2 we’re going to answer, “How did I get here?”‘
In the short clip, actor Tom Hiddleston, 41, dons the famous black locks of the God of Mischief while sporting a fashionable overcoat.
Later on in the teaser, Loki can be seen looking sharp in a three-piece suit with Owen Wilson’s Morbius, who asks, ‘A little over the top, don’t you think?’
Loki and Morbius are shown to be surrounded by several clones of Loki, who are all dressed up just as smartly as he is.
The final shot of the teaser then shows Loki falling from a great height – whether he’s jumped or been pushed is something we’ll have to wait to find out.
Season one writer Eric Martin is returning to pen episodes for season two, while Moon Knight directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead will join the team.
The Disney Plus teaser also featured footage from other future Marvel series, including Emilia Clarke’s Secret Invasion and The Mandalorian season 3.
‘This is just the beginning’, Clarke can be seen saying in character as Abigail Brand for the series which is set to premiere in the first half of 2023.

Loki season 2 is slated for release in summer 2023 on Disney Plus.
