Prince Andrew made a surprise appearance with the Royal Family as they took part in their traditional walk to church in Sandringham.
The disgraced Duke joined the rest of the family as they walked together to St Mary Magdalene for a Christmas service.
Andrew was not expected to join the family for the public appearance.
Prince Andrew stepped down from royal duties and the Queen stripped him of his military affiliations and patronages in the wake of a sex scandal earlier this year.
He denied the allegations against him and later came to an out of court settlement, reportedly worth £12 million with his accuser Virginia Giuffre.

It will be the first-time members of the Royal Family have spent Christmas at Sandringham House since 2019.
And back then, Andrew avoided making a public appearance and attended a private church service at the chapel at 9am with the late Queen.

MORE : Prince Andrew ‘on his own’ after being ‘banned’ from Buckingham Palace
It comes just a few days after it was that the Duke had reportedly been ‘kicked out’ of the family by the King.
King Charles has finally thrown Prince Andrew out of the royal fold and told him he’s ‘on his own’ in the wake of the scandal surrounding his associations with the late paedophile financier Jeffery Epstein, a source has claimed.
The Duke was told to no longer use Buckingham Palace as an office space, effectively severing his final tie to his old life as a working royal, according to a report in The Sun.
A source said: ‘Any presence at the Palace is officially over…The King has made it clear. He isn’t a working royal. He’s on his own.’
As part of the King’s decision, Andrew, 62, will not be able to use the address for any future correspondence.
The skeleton staff which had been retained since he stepped down from public duty three years ago now reportedly face being put out of work.
This is the first Christmas the Duke and the King will celebrate Christmas without their beloved Queen.

Members of the Royal Family attended a morning service at St Mary Magdalene Church together.
They were pictured arriving as a group, with King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla in front.
Joining them were the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children – Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and four-year-old Prince Louis, who walked hand in hand with Kate.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex were also in the group, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who live in California, were absent.
Charles has recorded his first Christmas broadcast as monarch, which is likely to reflect on the loss of his mother, and her legacy.
The festive message was recorded on December 13 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
Traditionally, members of the royal family sit down to watch the televised address when it airs after lunch, usually at 3pm.
