There really is so much to process following Rihanna’s epic Super Bowl comeback… but there’s one thing we simply cannot ignore.
The Barbadian singer kicked off her first live performance in five years, suspended high above the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, dressed in all red.
Fans were treated to a selection of hits from her catalogue, including We Found Love, Umbrella, Diamonds, Only Girl in the World, Wild Thoughts and oh so many more.
As the performance went on, however, fans watching at home all had one question on their lips… is she pregnant?
Now, Rihanna, of course, welcomed her first child with boyfriend ASAP Rocky last August, later confirming they were parents to an adorable baby boy.
Since then, Rihanna has gushed over how much she’s loving being a mother, saying just days prior to the Super Bowl that she wanted to inspire her son with her halftime show.

‘When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world,’ she said at the Apple Music pre-game press conference.
‘You can do anything, and the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world.
‘So as scary as that was, because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all.
‘And it’s important for me to do this, this year it’s important for representation and it’s important for my son to see that.’

And while speculating around pregnancy can be a dangerous game, the internet was set alight with chatter when the star appeared to boast a round belly during her 13-minute set.
As she donned an all-red tight-fitting outfit, there was certainly no mistaking that something was there.
At one point, while belting out the iconic tune Diamonds and showcasing her killer vocals, Rihanna placed her hands onto her tummy, as if the pitter patter of tiny feet could be approaching.
Within minutes ‘Pregnant’ was trending on Twitter, as hundreds of thousands of fans became desperate for an answer.

One person tweeted: ‘ok so everyone just googled “rihanna pregnant” right’.
‘Rihanna just gave us one of the most visually stunning performances of all time, IN THE SKY WHILE PREGNANT’, praised another.
Fans also dug up an interview Rihanna did during promo ahead of her stage comeback, when she teased a ‘surprise’ during the set.
When asked if there would be any special guests, well, we now know there weren’t, as Rihanna flew solo and performed even tracks such as Wild Thoughts and Work (originally duets) by herself.
But, ahead of taking to the stage, she hinted: ‘I’m thinking about bringing someone. I’m not sure. We’ll see,’ with a smirk.
So, was that ‘someone’ perhaps an unborn bubba?
‘The flex Rhianna’s kid is gonna have when it tells everyone that her mom sang on the #SuperBowl while she was pregnant,’ one Twitter user quipped.
‘Is Rihanna pregnant? I saw her rub her belly, I swear!!’, penned another.
Others also noted how the rumours of Rihanna potentially announcing a comeback tour after her halftime show would now be unlikely, if she really were to become a mother again.
