David Beckham made sure his family weren’t feeling too left out of all the World Cup final fun, as the former footballer gave them a cheeky Facetime from Qatar.
The former England captain has been a prominent fixture during the tournament and took up his rightful place in the VIP stands alongside son Cruz, 17, to watch the gripping clash between France and Argentina, the latter of who won 4-2 on penalties.
After Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, were crowned winners, David, 47, captured the moment the team accepted their individual medals and kissed the trophy for his loved ones missing out at home.
In his Instagram stories, the Manchester United legend was seen chatting to wife Victoria Beckham, 48, daughter Harper, 11, and sons Romeo, 20, and Brooklyn, 23, on Facetime while giving them a look at the final moments of the historic final.
Earlier in the game, David had bumped into tennis star Emma Radacanu and the two posed for a picture against the backdrop of the pitch.
‘So good to see you. What a game,’ David captioned the photo.

Alongside a photo of Mbappe, 23, celebrating a goal, he added: ‘My friend what a performance. Sois Fier.’
David also shared a heartwarming snap of Mbappe and Messi hugging after the game, writing: ‘Just doesn’t get better than that.’
The footballing champ had otherwise kept fans up to date on his and Cruz’s adventures around Qatar as they took in the bustling streets.

It’s been an eventful World Cup experience for David, who sparked controversy over his involvement with Qatar as a host nation after he reportedly signed a multi-million pound deal to act as their ambassador.
Qatar has been scrutinised over its human rights issues, notably that of the LGBTQ+ community due to their attitudes towards same-sex relationships.
David recently made his first public statement since the beginning of the tournament through a spokesperson.
He told an American press outlet that he ‘has always believed that sport has the power to be a force for good in the world.’
