Dancing On Ice star The Vivienne has revealed the gruelling training for the ITV show has got her in the ‘best shape of my life.’
The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner, 30, is among the stars taking to the rink in a bid to be crowned champion of the juggernaut series, presented by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
The Great British Sewing Bee contestant is battling it out against the likes of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Joey Essex, vying to impress judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse.
The Vivienne appeared on Friday’s Lorraine where she chatted to the Scottish TV host about her training regime ahead of her first performance on the series this weekend.
She revealed: ‘It’s got me in the best shape of my life, honestly. I lost nearly two stone.’
‘But I put a bit on after Christmas,’ The Vivienne added laughing, with Lorraine adding that ‘everybody does’ indulge during the festive period.

Lorraine then asked: ‘What about injuries because everyone always asks that?’
‘I’m quite lucky,’ The Vivienne began. ‘Because when I’m skating in drag, underneath all this is three inches of foam on each side of my hips. It gives me the illusion of Jessica Rabbit.
‘So I fall and I bounce straight back and I’ve got a crash helmet on,’ the reality TV star added, gesturing to their wig.

‘I’m all sorted; I bet all the other celebs are jealous.’
The Vivienne had announced she was joining Dancing On Ice 2023 in a post on social media, calling it a ‘dream come true.’
She added: ‘I’m beyond excited to announce that I will be competing in Dancing on Ice in 2023!
‘This is honestly a dream come true and I can’t wait to start training on the ice.
‘To be the first drag artist to take part in one of the big UK reality competition shows is truly an honour.

‘I think it’s a big step forward for queer representation on TV.’
After her first stint on RuPaul’s Drag Race, The Vivienne went on to compete in the seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, and has had her own BBC Three television series, The Vivienne Takes on Hollywood, which saw her produce her own music video.
