Many doctors have had to see patients without proper masks or protective body suits, resorting to reusing the same equipment when they should be changed regularly.

‘Notable progress’ made in US-Taliban talks
Aljazeera news says Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said he was told by the US Secretary of State that “notable progress” had been made during continuing talks between the United States and the Taliban.
In a post on Twitter, Ghani wrote that Mike Pompeo had told him in a telephone call that the Taliban made a proposal “with regards to bringing a significant and enduring reduction to violence,” as the US aims to strike a deal to take its troops home.
The tweet indicates a possible breakthrough in US-Taliban talks in Qatar. So far, there has been a deadlock between the two due to, in part, the US insisting on a reduction of violence as part of any US troops withdrawal agreement.
