Serving Ch Insp Richard Watkinson was found dead on the day he was to be charged, the paper writes. The two former officers, aged 62 and 63, are to appear in court accused of having indecent images of children, it adds.
The front page also reports on charges brought against US actor Alec Baldwin following the film set shooting death of a cinematographer and says the actor fears going to jail.
