Metro – Courage of sword cops
The Metro says two police officers were injured as they attempted to tackle a man armed with a sword following a deadly attack in which a 14-year-old boy was killed. The Metropolitan Police confirmed a 36-year-old man remains in hospital after he was arrested 22 minutes following the first 999 call. He suffered injuries when his van collided with a building, meaning police have been unable to interview him so far, Assistant Commissioner Louisa Rolfe said.
Elsewhere an image of King Charles also makes the paper, as he returns to public duties after starting cancer treatment.
