Bridget turned Stu’s life upside down (Picture: ITV)
Things turned out well for Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) in Coronation Street, as his murder conviction was officially overturned.
However, he left Yasmeen (Shelley King) disappointed as he made a decision over their future.
It recently came to light that Stu’s daughter Bridget (Beth Vyse) was responsible for the murder that he spent 20 years in prison for.
After new evidence saw her arrested, she was eventually sent down for the crime, leaving Stu with the wish to gain custody of his granddaughter Eliza (Savannah Kunyo).
In tonight’s episode, Stu returned home, happy with the result, but with some shocking news for Yasmeen.
He made it clear that, now he was an innocent man, Eliza was his number one priority, and that, if he was to gain custody then she would need her own room.

With this not being possible while living with Yasmeen, he informed her that he would have to move out.
Yasmeen was left disappointed but not overly surprised by the bombshell, but will she be able to convince Stu to stay?
