Will it be enough? (Pictures: ITV)
Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) tries to turn to her beloved gran, Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride), for help in Coronation Street soon as the case surrounding Aaron Sandford (James Craven) raping her continues.
Aaron’s dad, Eric, decided to take Amy to court after she wrote about her ordeal on social media.
Aaron and Eric argued that Amy’s post wasn’t true and now want to sue her for libel.
Due to the injustice surrounding the situation, Steve (Simon Gregson) and Tracy (Kate Ford) are determined to help their daughter, but it’s coming with a lot of hurdles – and every single one of them are incredibly costly.
Because of this, Amy suggests that she could use her inheritance money from Deirdre to fun the legal fees.
Steve won’t hear of it and tells Amy that he and Tracy will find the cash somewhere.
In the week, as Steve discusses the sale of the flower shop flat, Amy is left feeling terrible, knowing that Billy (Daniel Brocklebank), an unwell Paul (Peter Ash) and Summer (Harriet Bibby) are going to lose their home.
