Hope’s jealousy gets the better of her (Picture: ITV)
Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) has become known for her wild behaviour in Coronation Street.
Back in 2021, when Tyrone (Alan Halsall) was with Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu), the young girl set fire to the flat, determined to get rid of her dad’s new girlfriend.
She also once hid Joseph (William Flanagan) in the attic, tried to attack her classmates with a hammer, and got revenge on Beth (Lisa George) by pretending her dog bit her.
Honestly, this is standard for Hope.
In recent weeks, Hope has started spending time with Eliza (Savannah Kunyo), Stu’s (Bill Fellows) granddaughter.
This is because she has moved to Weatherfield High and, in a bid to settle in, began hanging out with Hope and Sam (Jude Riordan) after school.
While Sam has enjoyed playing chess and getting to know Eliza, the same cannot be said for Hope, who isn’t happy with the change in her friendship dynamic.
In future episodes, it’s Eliza’s belated birthday party at Speed Daal.

Promising Eliza a surprise, Roy (David Neilson) and Sam wow the party guests with a science display.

However, Hope’s jealousy once again gets the better of her, and she decides to sabotage the experiment, causing it to burst into flames.
Fortunately, Yasmeen (Shelley King) is on hand with the fire extinguisher, but will anyone realise that Hope was responsible?
