Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) made her thoughts on Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) recent behaviour perfectly clear during tonight’s Coronation Street.
After she found a lump in her breast during Wednesday’s instalment, Daisy had booked an appointment at the medical centre with Doctor Gaddas – and Daniel promised he would be there.
However, due to the fact the ordeal reminded Daniel of his past with Sinead, he decided to get drunk in the pub instead, convinced Daisy would get diagnosed with cancer and end up dying – just like Sinead.
Daniel’s behaviour meant Daisy had to wait outside on her own and then as the clock counted down, she eventually went into the appointment all alone.
After a chat with Peter (Chris Gascoyne), Daniel did turn up to the doctors, but he was drunk and made a show of himself – and poor Daisy felt even more awful.
Once he had sobered up, Daniel made his way over to the pub to grovel.

He admitted that he was truly terrified of losing Daisy in the same way as Sinead, but she was hurt that Daniel had once again focused on his feelings – not her’s.
Daisy told her partner that she’s tired of his selfishness and walked away, leaving Daniel fearing for the future.
Fortunately, we know that things will improve for the couple, as spoilers reveal Daniel’s plan to propose to Daisy.
