Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) recently received the devastating news that he is suffering from motor neurone disease in Coronation Street.
Determined not to leave his loved ones with debt, he decided to take on a number of dodgy jobs.
However, things took a turn for the worse when he decided to steal Rufus’ car and got caught, landing himself with a court date on top of everything else.
In upcoming scenes, Paul will decide not to attend his court hearing, despite knowing that this will have severe consequences.
In a surprising turn of events, it is resident bad boy Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) who tries to talk some sense into Paul in a new spoiler video.

Damon is one of only two people to know about Paul’s diagnosis, with Paul wanting to keep it under wraps until after sister Gemma’s (Dolly-Rose Campbell) wedding.
After learning that Paul is planning on skipping court, he tracks him down and tries to push him in the right direction.
Damon urged him not to act like his life was already over, but instead make the most of every day.

‘Life’s about accepting the good, the bad and the pig ugly,’ Damon pointed out, making it clear that going to court was something that Paul needed to do.
When Paul pointed out that he had already lost control of his arm and leg, and revealed that things were only going to get harder, Damon demanded that he stop waiting for the worst to happen.
He pointed out that if he was going to die sooner than expected, he shouldn’t waste a single day by not showing up to court and ending up in prison.
Will Damon’s pep talk be enough to change Paul’s mind?
