Disaster strikes for Teddy (Picture: ITV)
Out of all the characters in Coronation Street, Teddy (Grant Burgin) is absolutely someone in danger of Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).
Not only was he Leo’s (Joe Frost) father, but he hasn’t completely disappeared off the scene – he believes it’s very unusual for Leo to just up sticks, leave for Canada and cut off all contact – and that’s bothering Stephen greatly.
As he does his best to keep the truth about Leo dead and buried, Stephen’s troubled soon when Jenny tells him that Teddy called from Canada and has some new information about his son.
When Teddy arrives home and enters the pub, he reveals that Leo never arrived in Canada, the texts he sent came from Weatherfield and intends to break the news to Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews).
However, as he crosses the street, Teddy is hit by a van!
As January begins, Teddy is still in hospital.
