There’s a shock in store (Picture: ITV)
Secrets and lies stick with Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) as he looks towards 2023 in Coronation Street, but could things be about to get even more complicated when he ends up unintentionally causing a van crash?
Involved in the crash is Teddy (Grant Burgin) – Leo’s (Joe Frost) dad.
Prior to these scenes, Teddy is spending time in Canada trying to find out information on Leo.
We know that Stephen murdered him a few months ago and he has since allowed Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) and Teddy to believe the civil engineer simply upped sticks and left for Toronto without telling anyone.
Back in Weatherfield, Jenny reveals that Teddy has phoned with some information regarding his son.
Filled with dread about what Teddy might know, Stephen’s day goes from bad to worse when Adam (Sam Robertson) explains that he’s been contacted by Six Fellas – the pizza delivery service Stephen worked at for all of five minutes, before crashing the moped he was given and ending up in hospital.
When Adam explains they want to settle out of court, Stephen starts to wonder if his luck is changing.
Later on, in the pub, Stephen catches a drunk Teddy, who reveals that Leo never arrived in Canada, the texts he sent came from Weatherfield and he intends to break the news to Jenny.
