The boxsets return (Picture: ITV)
As the World Cup gets underway, BBC and ITV will be running coverage of the games which means yes – soap schedules have changed again.
Things kick off (sorry, pardon the pun) tonight as ITV screen the match between the USA and Wales, meaning Coronation Street and Emmerdale will not air.
For Emmerdale fans, the next episode airs tomorrow, November 22 at 7pm, and it’s an hour long.
There’ll also be Emmerdale episodes on Wednesday 23 at 7pm and Thursday 24 at 7pm, with both of these being an hour long. No soaps will air on ITV on Friday.
Corrie viewers have slightly longer to wait for their next visit to the cobbles, as the next episode airs on Wednesday 23 at 8pm.
While this is all focused on the TV channels, you can actually watch your Weatherfield and Dales weekly instalments by making your way over to the ITV Hub.

It’s been confirmed that Emmerdale and Coronation street will drop a week’s worth of episodes every Monday morning on the streaming platform, with both Twitter accounts encouraging fans to avoid tweeting about spoilers, as many people will be tuning in to ITV as normal – just at different times.
