Controversial TV channel ‘put on notice’ after breaching Ofcom rules with Tory MP presenters
GB News has been ‘put on notice’ after being found to have breached Ofcom rules five times.
Launched in 2021, the controversial channel has found itself under the spotlight of the watchdog several times over the past few years.
It’s now been confirmed it has breached rules over the fact it uses Tory politicians as news presenters.
Ofcom said GB News is now ‘on notice that any repeated breaches of Rules 5.1 and 5.3 may result in the imposition of a statutory sanction’ that could include a fine.
