Nigel Farage is reportedly set to make a cameo on this year’s I’m A Celeb (Picture: ITV/Rex)
I’m A Celebrity has reportedly set their sights on a big politician to join the show this year.
It’s just a matter of weeks before the popular reality competition returns to see a group of celebs dropped into the Australian jungle.
While the official cast of 2023 is yet to be announced, former Ukip leader Nigel Farage – who has been asked to appear several times before – could be making his debut.
An insider shared: ‘Nigel has been at the top of the wish-list for I’m A Celeb bosses for years.’
The source added to The Sun: ‘They’ve offered him a huge fee as they know he’ll drive up viewing figures. Ant and Dec will love this signing.
The potential deal is reportedly worth up to £1million and is being negotiated with 2017’s winner Georgia Toffolo’s talent company — The Visionary Talent Agency.

Speaking on his GB News show last year, Farage said: ‘I have been approached several times by I’m a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here! and I’ve always ruled it out.
‘I’ve never thought it would be a good thing to do.’
Farage certainly wouldn’t be the first MP to face a Bushtucker trial, with former Conservative Party member Edwina Currie and ex-health secretary Matt Hancockboth having hit the jungle for a spot of televised humiliation.
The sitting MP who quit as Health Secretary in 2021 after being caught having an affair with an aide Gina Coladangelo, made his debut on the series alongside comedian Seann Walsh.

However, his arrival was met with intense backlash across the country from viewers and his fellow campmates, who challenged the politician about his motives for signing up to the series.
Last year’s series was eventually won by Lioness legend Jill Scott, who was crowned Queen of the Jungle.
According to sources, Katie Price’s ex Danny Cipriani, The Apprentice’s Thomas Skinner, Denise Van Outen and This Morning hun Josie Gibson, have been rumoured to sign-up on the upcoming edition.
Meanwhile, Ant and Dec also recently gave us a sneak peak into the final ever Saturday Night Takeaway, before they head on a breather.
