Chris Brown has attempted to clear the air after blasting Robert Glasper for winning a Grammy that he was also nominated for.
The American singer-songwriter was nominated in the best R&B album category for his Breezy (Deluxe) record, alongside Mary J. Blige for Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe), Lucky Daye’s Candydrip, and PJ Morton’s Watch The Sun.
But, it was Robert and his Black Radio III album that bagged the trophy, resulting in Chris throwing a hissy fit.
Taking to his Instagram Story after finding out that he hadn’t won, the Don’t Wake Me Up singer hit out at the pianist, claiming to not know who he is.
‘Brow who the f**k is this?’, the 33-year-old asked, sharing a screenshot of Robert’s Google page.
‘Yall playing’, he added, followed by a series of crying laughing emoji. ‘Who da f**k is this?’

Chris didn’t stop there, writing in a separate post: ‘Ima keep kicking yall a**! Respectfully’, before vowing to take up the harmonica to win some more awards.
The star’s own fans called him out for the behaviour, branding him a ‘sore loser’.
Having seemingly calmed down now, Chris has revealed that he sent a message to winner Robert, apologising.
‘Congratulations my brother..’, he began in the Instagram message.

‘I would like to apologise if you took offence to my reaction at the Grammys.. you were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean.’
Chris then added that the ‘organisation’ (the Recording Academy’ is actually at fault, accusing it of not doing Black people their ‘due diligence.’
Adding that, after doing his ‘research’, he thinks Robert is ‘amazing’, Chris wrote: ‘You and I should never be in the same category.. two totally different vibes and genres.’
He went on: ‘So from one black man to another.. CONGRATULATIONS.’

‘Hope you are able to feed your family for life’, he concluded.
‘God bless my G’, Chris signed off.
It’s not known whether Robert replied to Chris’ message, or if he even read it.
However, the now Grammy-winning musician has taken the trolling in his stride, previously sharing a bunch of images to his Instagram Story with the, ‘Who the f**k is Robert Glasper’, message on, adding his own songs to the background and thanking friends for their congratulatory messages.
