David Bentley feels Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi would be a ‘great buy’ for Arsenal in the summer if they can get him for the right price.
The 22-year-old, who has three caps for England, is currently on a season-long loan at German club Bayer Leverkusen, where he has made 18 appearances so far this season in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
Hudson-Odoi progressed through the Chelsea academy and is currently under contract until 2024.
He has made a total of 126 appearances for the Blues since making his debut, registering 16 goals and 22 assists.
Bentley feels Hudson-Odoi should follow in Jorginho’s footsteps and swap Stamford Bridge for the Emirates.
Bentley told Bitcoin Casino: ‘It depends the level they would be going in for him at – if they are going in at a good price then yes – the player has talent, he’s young and if he can slot into the Arsenal way and environment then he’s certainly a player that could be a great fit for them.
‘He’s very talented but maybe just found himself in a difficult position at Chelsea with a lot of players coming in and different managers, which sometimes is not a great environment for a young player to be developing in.

‘If he can settle down at a club like Arsenal, with the full support of the club, then he’s certainly a player – if they can get him at the right price – then he could end up being a great buy for Arsenal.’
Arsenal are enjoying an impressive season thus far and are top of the Premier League after 20 games, five points clear of second-placed Manchester City with a game in hand.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are massively struggling in the top-flight and are all the way down in ninth – 10 points off the top four.
The Blues have spent more than £600m on new players since the summer and may need to start selling some off in order to avoid breaking Financial Fair Play rules.
