WWE superstar Charlotte Flair has dropped a massive hint that she could be back in the ring sooner rather than later.
The former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since being written off at the beginning of May following an attack from Ronda Rousey, which coincided with her wedding to Andrade El Idolo later that month.
However, she didn’t make a comeback over the summer and beyond, with her husband saying last month that she had ‘time off due to personal reasons’.
No return date has been set, but a post on her Instagram Story on Tuesday suggested fans could see her back on screen imminently.
The Queen posted a photo of her feet in a pair of wrestling boots, laced up and ready to go.
Beyond the relatively cryptic post, which didn’t come with a caption of any kind, Charlotte is keeping fans guessing at a time when the women’s division in WWE just got a huge boost with the return of Becky Lynch.

Becky – who has her own past with Ric Flair’s daughter both on and off screen – helped her team to victory in WarGames as she wrestled her first match in four months over the weekend.
On Monday’s episode of Raw, she found herself in a scrap with Bayley and her Damage CTRL allies Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, while we’re waiting to find out who will be Bianca Belair’s next challenger for the Raw Women’s Title.
Interestingly, in the post-show Survivor Series press conference on Saturday night, Bianca mentioned Charlotte as one of two dream WrestleMania 39 opponents – alongside Rhea Ripley – because beating her would mean the EST of WWE has scored a win over all four Horsewomen.
Along with Becky and Charlotte, the influential quartet also includes Bayley and Sasha Banks, whose own WWE future remains unclear.
Reflecting on the group, the Queen previously told Metro.co.uk: ‘It’s an unspoken bond. Our careers have all taken different turns and ended up in different spots in different times. The level of respect is always there, no matter what.
‘You just don’t… maybe we should talk about it more, but we all know how we feel about each other, what we did and what it took and how hard we worked to get where we are.’
