Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch is said to be charging celebrity guests £75 for the opportunity to rent their own personal dressing room while filming the show, it’s been claimed.
Presented by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, the live TV show has welcomed a plethora of famous stars throughout its 11 years on air, recently welcoming figures among the likes of Reece Shearsmith, Dani Dyer, Ellie Goulding and the members of Busted.
It’s been reported that those who are invited to make appearances are told that they can relax in a ‘communal green room’ before filming commences.
However, should stars want to use an ‘individual dressing room’, that would reportedly be ‘subject to a small fee’ of £75.
According to The Sun, an email was sent from bookers to celebrities’ agents stipulating that ‘changing rooms are available in the hair and make-up room, if required’.
A source told the publication: ‘Celebrities have been really taken aback by the move, it’s totally unheard of in the industry.

‘They don’t charge a fee to appear, so why should they stump up cash to get changed in private?’
They alleged that female stars ‘are particularly furious’ about the decision, ‘as they usually have to get changed and expect a private dressing room to be laid on’.
‘It’s a cheeky move and presumably part of some cost-cutting exercise,’ they added.

TV personality Emily Atack was involved in a particularly memorable moment on Sunday Brunch last year, when she made a move with a member of the crew by asking for his number.
The crew member, called Ben, sprang into action when chef Simon struggled to get a food processor working properly, with Tim also trying to help him out.
After Ben stepped in, Emily didn’t hold back as she shouted: ‘Can I have your phone number?’

Meanwhile, Blur bassist Alex James suffered a gruesome injury on the show, slicing a ‘big chunk’ off his finger while cooking some fritters.
Several viewers watching the live programme tweeted that the musician should have been taken off air so that his injury could be tended to, while others praised him for staying calm amid the chaos.

Sunday Brunch next airs on Sunday at 9.30am on Channel 4.
