A Twitch streamer’s entire Hitman World of Assassination progress was deleted in front of thousands of viewers thanks to a certain… cat-astrophe.
A lot of unexpected moments have been caught on Twitch, ranging from a Pokémon robber getting caught red-handed to watermelons explosions leaving streamers covered in bits.
An almost certain recipe for disaster on Twitch is having pets roaming around, as they tend to make their own fun, often tugging on cables and sometimes ruining expensive gear.
However, Twitch streamer Stormfall33 suffered a different type of loss, as her cat Momo somehow managed to delete her entire Hitman 3 Freelancer mode progress.
It all happened when Stormfall33, real name Miranda, paused her game to read her viewers’ messages in the chat, after almost three hours of playing, allowing her cat to jump on her desk.
After hitting the keyboard with pinpoint accuracy, the mischievous pet managed to end the session and return to the title menu, much to the streamer’s shock.
As soon as Miranda realised what had happened, she started shouting at Momo, slamming her desk in frustration.
‘He literally just stepped on my escape key and hit enter. He closed my game. He exited the mission! How did you do that?!,’ the streamer said.
Responding with a string of outraged meows, Momo swiftly leapt off the desk and retreated back to his cozy abode on top of the bed.

In the end, Miranda decided to restart the game on Freelancer mode, determined to go through each one of the missions once again, with her chat cheering her on.
The Freelancer mode offers a twist on the game’s classic gameplay, as it challenges you to not only take out specific targets, but to approach each task differently.
As there are randomised elements throughout each mission, you are forced to employ a more strategic approach to successfully carry out Agent 47’s eliminations, meaning that no one run is ever the same.
That’s me. This clip lacks context. My cat apologized immediately after and went on to beat the entire game for me. pic.twitter.com/844IKfLIT5
