Daily Express – Can Hunt and PM pull rabbit out the hat? 

The government is “under pressure” to cut taxes, the Daily Express reports on its front page, with the prime minister and chancellor in talks to fund a budget “giveaway”. Hunt “desperately” wants to make cuts to personal taxes but has found himself “hamstrung by gloomy economic forecasts”. But the paper does ask whether the chancellor might still be able to pull a rabbit out of the hat.

The front page of the paper also reports on King Charles, who will travel to Australia later this year, despite his cancer diagnosis.
