The Guardian leads on former prime minister David Cameron’s shock return to the cabinet as foreign secretary, in what the paper labels in its headline as a “high-stakes” reshuffle by Rishi Sunak.

The paper reports that the right-wing of the Conservative Party is “enraged” by Mrs Braverman’s firing. 

It also features a story about Israeli forces reaching the gates of Gaza’s biggest hospital as hundreds remain trapped inside.
