Welcome to Bugatti Residences – where you could live inside a metallic slinky (Picture: SWNS)
Supercar manufacturer Bugatti has unveiled plans for a new luxury mansion complex in Dubai – and the unusual shape of the building has caught people’s attention.
The new Bugatti Residences will be home to 200 mansions and penthouses alongside luxury amenities like a French Riviera-style beach, a jacuzzi spa and a private members club.
But people have already taken to Twitter to suggest the uniquely-shaped skyscraper reminds them of a popular children’s toy – the slinky.
Bugatti shared a tweet last week with pictures of the first ever Bugatti Residences, which they hope will be built in the Business Bay area of Dubai.
The luxury car maker tweeted: ‘Reimagining the ‘Art of Living’ in the heart of Dubai: The first BUGATTI Residences located in the prime area of Business Bay are the result of the collaboration between BUGATTI and Dubai based real estate developer @Binghatti.’
And a fan took to the comments to say the plans for the building resemble a ‘giant slinky’.
They said: ‘Looks like a giant slinky but I dig it!’

Teaming up with Dubai-based real estate company Binghatti, the supercar maker plans to build the luxury homes in the heart of the Business Bay area.
Those lucky enough to live in one of the new mansions will have access to garage-to-penthouse car lifts and a French Riviera-inspired beach.
The new complex will also offer a private pool, jacuzzi spa, fitness club, chef’s table, private valet and a private members club.
The two car lifts will allow residents to transport their car up to their home, and those living in the building will also get access to bespoke services like a chauffeur and concierge.

This unusually-shaped building will be made up of 171 Riviera mansions and 11 Sky Mansion Penthouses.
Each home will be uniquely designed with bespoke layouts – so no two will look the same.
The complex has been designed to ‘manifest the beauty of the Riviera’s spirit and flair’ in the same way ‘Bugatti has translated the beauty and sophistication of French luxury into the design of its hyper sports cars’.
