A British tourist has been killed after being knocked off his motorbike in a hit-and-run in Bali.
The victim, 24, was driving on the Singaraja-Kintamani highway when he was hit by the car.
The driver of the car, named as 54-year-old Njoo Pin Tek, did not stop to help im.
He told police he thought he only ‘grazed’ Hugo after taking a wide turn.
Bulelang police said: ‘The driver thought the biker was just grazed, because he was positioned from the side. It didn’t feel like he had been hit, so he continued his journey towards Kintamani.’
Hugo’s family are in the process ofrepatriating his body.
