Britain’s pothole crisis has deepened, according to the Sun, with the paper reporting that almost half of UK roads are in disrepair and the backlog to fix them is at a record high.

Interestingly, the report into the Met police – which heavily crisites the force – is only given a small space on the paper’s front page.
