The Chase host Bradley Walsh broke down in tears when asked by his son Barney what has been his stand-out memory while filming their travel show, Breaking Dad.
Back in 2019, the duo packed their bags and headed to the United States to film the first series, where they ended up in Los Angeles, Arizona, Texas and New Orleans.
In subsequent seasons they went on to visit locations including Italy, Croatia and Poland.
The latest sees them tackle South America, with the five episodes tracking their road trip in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
In the finale, Barney, 25, started reflecting on all of the experiences they’d had.
‘We’ve done so many different things and you can’t really compare. We’ve been to 17 countries,’ he said.

Addressing his dad, 65, Barney said that his favourite activites had more so been linked to the ‘memories’ they made doing this.
‘Being with you, we are so blessed to be able to do this and to go around the world and do this,’ he added.
Responding to his son, Bradley started becoming emotional and teared up, before saying: ‘I think this is very…it is a lovely thing to do, it’s just amazing.’
As his eyes welled up he added: ‘I’m not upset. I find it very emotional, very heartwarming, I really do.’

The pair then gave each other a high-five, with Bradley adding: ‘Love you, man.’
‘Thanks for bringing us on this trip, it’s been really, wow.’
In the final episode of the season, the pair also signed up for a helicopter flying lesson, which tested Bradley’s fear of heights.

Aside from this show, the pair have also appeared together on The Larkins, however there have been reports that that series was on the chopping block after suffering a drop in ratings in the second season.
While the first season premiere attracted 4.8 million viewers, the second season lost two million viewers, with 2.9 million people tuning in.

However last month Bradley said the delay on a third season was due to the fact it required a 14-week shoot and he ‘doesn’t have time to do that.’
He explained: ‘It’s down to me. It’s not anything else. We’re trying to get a special.’
Breaking Dad is streaming on ITVX.
