The last of three May bank holidays is now upon us, and the perfect chance to catch up on all those annoying DIY jobs around the house.

With the Spring Bank Holiday falling on Monday, May 29 when the weather’s been warming up, it’s also a great time to get gardening and make your plot or window boxes look lovely.

But with some shops changing their opening times over bank holidays, when can you pop to B&Q, Homebase, When is B&Q open over the Spring bank holiday?

When is Homebase open over the bank holiday?

Homebase says its stores will be open between 8am and 7pm on the Spring Bank Holiday.

Wickes says its stores will be open as usual.

This means you’ll be able to visit and pick up supplies from 7am until 8pm.

When is Screwfix open over the Spring Bank Holiday?

On the bank holiday, most Screwfix stores in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are expected be open as normal, from 7am until 8pm.
