A 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old male have have been charged with murder after a man was stabbbed to death in a London park.
Kalabe Legesse, 29, died from a stab wound to the heart after he was found wounded in Peckham Rye Park, south London, on the evening of December 30.
He was said to have been attacked out of nowhere while ‘minding his own business’ sitting in the park.
Paramedics tried to save him but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Nah’shun Thomas, 19, and the 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were arrested on Thursday.
The pair were due to appear before Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
