Daily Express – Boy, 14, killed in horror sword attack 

The Daily Express leads its front page with a report of a sword attack in northeast London in which a 14-year-old boy was killed. Four other people were also rushed to hospital, including two police officers called to the scene in Hainault. A 36-year-old man remains in custody after being Tasered by police.

One eyewitness told how they saw a boy “knifed in the head”. James Fernando, 39, told Express.co.uk that he also saw a man stabbed in the neck.

Another witness, Chris Bates, said: “He [the attacker] had a big samurai sword. It was a huge sword. I saw it all from my bedroom window and then when he went into the driveway, a couple of doors down, I ran outside and then the police Tasered him there.

The front page features a still image of the attacker being Tasered.
