An 11-year-old boy has been killed in a crash between a car and a flatbed van in East Sussex.
The child was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the B2095 in Hooe shortly after 3pm.
The victim died as a result of his injuries on Saturday, police have announced.
A man, 33, from Eastbourne has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He remains in custody and is awaiting an interview.
Witnesses, including anyone with dash cam footage, have been asked to come forward.
