TheDaily Express leads on the story that Vladimir Putin allegedly threatened to kill Boris Johnson during a phone call after he visited Kyiv shortly before war broke out in Ukraine last February. The paper reports the Russian president told the then PM “with a missile it would only take a minute”.
The interview with the BBC in which Johnson claimed that, following a trip he made to Ukrainian capital Kyiv shortly before the Russian invasion last February, Vladimir Putin threatened to assassinate him.
