The Daily Express features Boris Johnson’s alleged COVID rule-breaking as his supporters defend him vehemently.
The police referral is described as a “complete stitch-up” on the front of the Daily Express. The paper says allies of Mr Johnson have claimed there is a “vendetta” being waged against him, with one source telling it that “these were work meetings, not family or friends or so-called parties”.
For several months, at least six fake anti-Ukraine covers of the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo have been circulating online, especially on Russian Telegram channels. Now a fake news report, attributed to French media outlet 20 Minutes, falsely accuses Russian independent journalist Ilya Ber of being behind these Charlie Hebdo covers.
