Joe Jonas once had an unfortunate mishap on stage when he trusted a fart and paid the price – and as if that wasn’t bad enough, he was wearing white.

The American singer and actor, 33, the middle child of pop music and TV trio the Jonas Brothers, has been performing on stages since he was 15.

With a lifetime’s worth of showbiz experience after his breakout performance in Disney movie Camp Rock, Joe knows not every performance can be perfect.

But it appears one performance in particular went wrong in one of the most embarrassing ways possible, leaving Joe feeling particularly red-faced.

‘I was with a few friends yesterday,’ the Happiness Begins singer explained, before delving a little deeper into what he was discussing with them.

He continued: ‘We were just talking, [saying] there is a point in your life as an adult where you can remember the last time you s**t your pants.’

Please, Joe, tell us more. ‘Let’s just say it was a bad day to wear white clothing.’

The Jonas Brothers singer and guitarist, who is married to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, went into even more detail on Los Angeles radio station Kiis FM.

‘I think it might’ve been a little toot, might’ve been something else, something a little extra. It was a light one. Not a full.’

Thank god for small mercies, I suppose.

However, as soon as the incident took place, Joe’s backroom team sprung into action to make sure that the damage was as minimal as it could be.

‘The whole time, I thought that somebody was going to be able to see this and know what is happening, but it was all in my head,’ Joe added.

‘It wasn’t as big of a deal as I thought. Such is life. It has happened to many artists. I’ve paid my dues, and I feel like I’m a part of some secret club now.’

In a recent interview with Metro.co.uk, the ‘JoBros’- Joe, Nick, and Kevin – all admitted to loving a ‘cheeky Nando’s’ whenever they visit the UK.

Timber has signed a long-term deal with the Gunners (Picture: Getty)

Jurrien Timber says he is ready to fill in across three positions after sealing his move to Arsenal.

The Netherlands internationals joins the Gunners from Ajax having sealed his £38million move on Friday afternoon.

The 22-year-old has starred at centre-half at Ajax for the last two seasons, occasionally featuring at right-back.

William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes formed a partnership at the heart of Mikel Arteta’s defence last season but the Frenchman’s injury woes at the end of the campaign underlined the need for a better option capable of stepping in.

Ben White was Arsenal’s regular right-back last term who, like Timber, can also shift inside, giving the manager a number of versatile options across his backline.

Timber also believes he can provide an option in midfield, confident the similarities between Arsenal and Ajax’s game will allow him to thrive.

‘I think that I’m lucky to say that I can play as a central defender, as a right full-back, sometimes even on the midfield,, Timber said. ‘So I think that’s a good thing and I need to keep that.

‘I just like the way Arsenal play, is a bit similar to Ajax’s style and I like to play from the back. I can see a lot of similarities, especially in the way Arsenal and Ajax want to play.’

Timber follows in the footsteps of the likes of Marc Overmars and Thomas Vermaelen in making the move from Ajax to Arsenal with club legend Denis Bergkamp another to have played for both sides.

‘There are a couple of players [who have come here from Ajax], but there have been not a lot,’ he said.

‘So I think it’s special to be here as an Ajax player and it’s special that they notice you and they see me as the player I am.

‘I’m really excited, especially now I’m here. Everyone is so nice and you can see it’s a big club.

‘I’m excited to play for this beautiful club, and I can’t wait to start, and to see the fans obviously in the stadium.’

Europe, China and US swelter in record-breaking heatwaves EU

Summer has just begun in the Northern Hemisphere but a brutal heat wave is already gripping parts of Europe, China and the United States, where record temperatures expected this weekend are a stark illustration of the dangers of a warming climate.

We’re reaching the peak of summer which can only mean one thing: Shark Week is upon us.

The annual seven-day celebration of all things shark returns to Discovery Channel on July 23 with Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, taking the reins to bring us endless fun, drama and WTF documentaries’ about the creatures which thanks to a certain 1975 Spielberg horror have become the most feared animal on the planet.

Among the shows coming our way is Cocaine Sharks on July 26, the natural successor to the absurd blockbuster smash Cocaine Bear which was somehow loosely based on a true story.

In what will no doubt be one of the most unmissable events in Shark Week, shark expert Tom ‘The Blowfish’ Hird will be heading to Florida Keys to investigate rumours sharks charged on cocaine have been spreading through the fishing community.

What actually happens when sharks and cocaine mix? Well, that’s what Hird will be looking to uncover.

Elsewhere for Shark Week, we’ll be keeping a close eye on Jaws vs The Meg, exploring a theory the humble great white was responsible for the extinction the megalodon, the shark which grew to around 50 foot.

Then Shark vs Snake: Battle of The Bites will investigate why so many tiger shark corpses appear to be washing up on the beaches of West Australian with no sign of an attack. Are deadly sea snakes to blame?

Momoa admitted he’s been ‘begging’ to anchor Shark Week for years, taking over from last year’s host Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Jonson.

‘We’ve been trying to do it probably since 2018,’ he said.

Speaking to People, he added: ‘I’m hoping Shark Week goes well, and I can do another one, and then another one, and just pass on more information.’

Other highlights include Belly of the Beast: Feeding Frenzy, which hopes to find the biggest great white shark ever recorded, and Air Jaws: Final Frontier, which looks at the huge ocean predators that soar well above the surface of the water.

Shark Week launches July 23 on the Discovery Channel.
