Thank you to everyone who was moved by my story on the small charities that are struggling to give aid inside the Idlib province because of Charity Commission red tape.
In particular, I think many of you were moved by the work of British medic Dr Shajul Islam at hospitals providing help to amputee children.
Charity Commission red tape draws anger in Syria
You will be pleased to know that One Nation’s fundraising goal to get four-year-old Naseem back on her feet is well underway as you can see from the latest videos in this column. Little Naseem was barely 15 months old when she took her first few faltering steps in the world but her excitement was short-lived thanks to a missile attack on her home which took away both of her legs.
But please continue supporting One Nation because, sadly, there are many little Naseem who need our help and support.
