Spooky season has come to the Big Brother house with creepy ‘room 101’ tasks for the housemates but one particularly grim task has upset viewers.
For the Halloween spooktacular episode contestants had to complete challenges while in terrifying costumes – plus Henry as a pumpkin.
Many viewers accused ITV of turning Big Brother into I’m A Celeb as the tasks were reminiscent of bushtucker trials as the housemates put their hands into mystery scary boxes.
Worst of the tasks was given to poor Jordan and Chanelle who had to dunk their heads into fish guts and retrieve dead fish in a gruesome twist on apple bobbing.
Struggling through the task, the duo were covered in watery blood and guts, with Chanelle looking more like Carrie than the Wicked Witch by the end of it.
Fans weren’t impressed and felt this was a much harder and more disgusting request than the previous one in which Yinrun, Jenkin, and Tom sat while a clown smacked the table.

Watch Big Brother’s Big Body Language

A second added: ‘Jordan and Chanelle got it way worse than the last group.’
While nobody wants to sit through their worst fear – with Yinrun squealing the entire clown encounter – the task did feel disproportionate.
‘I would be VIOLENTLY SICK if I had to put my face in fish guts,’ shared another viewer as many called the task ‘revolting’ and ‘obscene’.

Someone else added: ‘I can’t believe they made Tom Yin and Jen just sit around with a clown walking around whilst making Jordan and Chanelle dunk their heads in fish guts?!?!??’
‘How is this equal to Yinrun and co’s task!?! This is revolting!!!’ agreed another disgruntled viewer.
The I’m A Celeb inspired trial did win points for the duo, who succeeded in the task, with fans declaring they should ‘automatically win’.
While Jordan and Chanelle are still in the running, Kerry was evicted from the house resulting in an intense argument between Dylan and Trish.
Big Brother airs at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
