BBC news coverage suffered a major blunder on Monday, leaving viewers mocking the broadcaster.
Recent weeks have seen plenty of gaffes occur at the Beeb, including the likes of newsreaders they’re not realising they’re still on air, and technical issues leaving the studio in darkness.
And there’s another to add to the list, as an awkward technical glitch occurred during a broadcast of President Biden meeting King Charles.
Ahead of the important meeting, the channel was airing scenes of Windsor Castle, when suddenly, the scenic view was replaced with coloured bars and a clear disruption.
Not only that, but the ‘BREAKING’ banner appeared on the screen while a rolling feed showed the words: ‘Field operations, Sky News, London.’
As the camera turned back to an interviewee, a reporter said: ‘Oops! We’ve lost the picture but there we go!’
Viewers were left giggling at the error, with one writing: ‘Still find it funny when BBCNews use SkyNews feed, or vice versa. Even more funny when the feed goes down.’
‘Breaking or broken,’ another said, while TV critic Scott Bryan added: ‘BBC Breaking v accurate, there.’

The error comes amid the ongoing scandal at the BBC, after it was claimed a male BBC star was reportedly being investigated for providing money in exchange for explicit photos from a teenager.
The well-known presenter, who has not been named, was accused of giving more than £35,000 to the anonymous teen for the imagery.
While the alleged victim at the centre of the allegations is now 20 years old, the situation is said to have begun when they were 17.
It was later confirmed by the Metropolitan Police that ‘no investigation’ is underway.
Since the allegations broke, further claims have emerged that the presenter stripped down to his underwear for a video call with the alleged victim, but, a lawyer for the young person said there was ‘no truth’ to the claims.
Since the story broke, the likes of Gary Lineker, Rylan Clark and Jeremy Vine have spoken out to deny rumours they were the presenter while broadcaster Piers Morgan has blasted the BBC’s ‘ridiculous’ coverage.
