Great British Bake Off contestant Janusz Domagala has once again stolen viewer’s hearts by revealing he wore a colour of the Pride flag in every episode for each week on the show.
On Tuesday’s episode, Janusz narrowly missed out on a place in the final against fellow contestants Syabira, Sandro and Abdul, after Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith decided it was his time to go.
The openly gay Polish baker had already scored popularity with viewers, especially after he recently made a hilarious statement about his notorious spring roll in the form of a Downing Street press conference.
And despite being eliminated, he certainly has much to be proud of, writing himself on Twitter: ‘I DID IT!
‘Being chubby, gay and the first Polish national contestant on GBBO I knew I had a lot to represent walking into the tent.’
The 34-year-old continued to his followers: ‘I wanted to do this by being myself but also set myself a little challenge to wear a colour of the pride flag each week and hope that I could tick them all off!
‘I love being able to be a part of so many different communities and Great Britain is a home that’s allowed me to do that.’
He finished his emotional post by thanking his fans, saying: ‘Thank you SO much for taking me in and embracing me and for the love, support and fun over the last 9 weeks, and thank you to every person who was in that tent on and behind the camera with me who became family.
‘Janusz has left the tent.’

Captioned ‘Sending all the love there is’, Janusz posted a picture of him with all his different coloured shirts, forming a rainbow that featured the trans flag and including the queer people of colour community at the end too.
His post was showered with support, with one person writing: ‘Has been a joy watching you and your fellow bakers, and sad to see you leave (had pegged you as a finalist from the start).

‘Love the camaraderie and gentleness of GBBO, a ray of sunshine in these unsettled times. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of you…’
Another commented: ‘Dude, the absolute best of all the creative bakers out there!! Magical bakes; keep dripping.’
