A gunman has killed three people, including two teachers, after breaking into school buildings in south-eastern Brazil.
Another 11 are wounded following the incident.
Authorities say the gunman, who has not been caught, was armed with a semi-automatic pistol and wore a bulletproof vest.
He broke a lock to enter a teacher’s lounge before beginning his attack, police say.
Shocking security camera footage shows the gunman running up to the building.
Espirito Santo public security secretary Marcio Celante has confirmed that two teachers were killed and nine instructors were wounded in the attack.
The identity of the gunman’s third victim has not been revealed, and it is not yet known if any students were killed or wounded.
Both shootings took place at a public school and a private school, both located on the same street, in the small town of Aracruz in Espirito Santo state.
The gunman had covered his face, making it difficult to identify him, Celante said in the statement, adding that police are investigating whether he was helped by others.
School shootings are uncommon in Brazil, but have happened with somewhat greater frequency in recent years.
In a video posted to social media, Espirito Santo governor, Renato Casagrande, said he is monitoring the situation and has sent authorities to investigate.
