Paul McCartney unwraps his ‘secret Christmas album’
BBC News says Sir Paul McCartney once recorded a secret Christmas album “jut for the family” that “gets brought out each year” at the McCartney house.
“Years ago I thought, there’s not very [many] good Christmas records,” he told BBC Radio 4’s World at One programme.
“So I actually went into my studio over a couple of years and I made one.”
The legendary musician said he would never release the demo of traditional Christmas carol instrumentals, despite it being popular with his children and grandchildren.

Harvey Weinstein emerges on zimmerframe as ‘$25m deal struck with accusers’
Sky News reports disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has struck a “tentative” deal with dozens of his alleged victims.
The New York Times says the proposed settlement of $25 million would end nearly every lawsuit filed by those who say the former Hollywood producer assaulted them.
And Weinstein would not have to apologise or pay from his own personal bank account. The cost will be covered by insurers representing the Weinstein company.

The decade the Kardashians took over everything
Buzzfeed looks at the rise of the Kardashian family. And says their road to the top was more complicated than you remember and more surprising than you’d expect.
Back in 2010, when KUWTK was only a few seasons old there was no precedent for the kind of star the Kardashian sisters were becoming. The word “influencer” didn’t exist; Twitter was for nerds and Instagram wouldn’t launch until October that year.
Most people believed the Kardashians would be flashes in the reality TV pan, pretty party girls who would fizzle out and fade away like Kim K’s one-time boss Paris Hilton.
But instead, the Kardashian clan took advantage of the fast-evolving social media and personal branding and built an empire. They now have a billion-dollar makeup company, at least five clothing lines, eight spinoff shows and nine grandchildren.

Matrix 4 gets official May 2021 release date
ScreenRant says The Matrix 4 (as yet untitled) is scheduled for a 2021 release.
The original Matrix trilogy ended in 2003, with The Matrix Revolutions. It appeared to bring the story of Neo, Trinity and Morpheus and their battle to free humanity from the machines to an end.
In recent years, however, Warner Bros has been working on ways to get the Matrix back on the big screen, whether a reboot or continuation.
The studio decided on a continuation and made the announcement of a fourth instalment to the franchise a few months ago. Both Keanu Reeves and Carrie Ann Moss will reprise their roles in this new chapter (despite their character deaths in Revolutions).
There have been several casting updates since the announcement and ahead of the start of production in early 2020.

Christian Bale turned down fourth Batman film because of Nolan’s wish
IndieWire says Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight” trilogy is widely considered one of the best comic book franchises in film history and a huge financial win for Warner Bros.
The third, and last, instalment left the door open for Bruce to one day return to Batman. Bale told the Toronto Sun that a fourth Nolan Batman movie was pitched by the studio.
Bale said when the studio asked about doing a fourth film, he said, “No. We have to stick to Chris’ dream, which was always to, hopefully, do a trilogy. Let’s not stretch too far and become overindulgent and go for a fourth.”
