Alex Gray and Tom Elderfield rocked The Traitors contestants when they revealed their secret relationship in dramatic scenes.
The pair entered the Scottish Highlands castle on the BBC mystery show as Faithfuls but decided, initially at least, to pretend they were strangers.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the series has taken the nation by storm as viewers avidly tune in to find out who the Traitors have decided to ‘murder’, while the Faithfuls desperately scramble to ‘banish’ the decievers.
There has been backstabbing, with Traitors Amanda and Wilfred turning on Alyssa, tears and lies, with one of the biggest zingers (other than Amanda’s Oscar-winning performance as a Faithful), being Alex and Tom’s romance.
The magician and Alex, 26, decided to keep it hush-hush as they believed it would harm their chances of winning over their fellow Faithfuls.
The presenter and actor explained in the first episode: ‘We’re going to keep that top secret because if anyone sees us have an alliance, that would be awful, so I’ve flirted a bit with Matt, so it’s kind of throwing the bait somewhere else.’

Ah yes, poor Matt, as while trying to throw the contestants off the scent Alex cosied up to Matt, who couldn’t contain how much he had the hots for her, at one point declaring her his ‘future wife.’
But unfortunately, during one very tense scene, when the cast started turning on Alex, Tom, 24, couldn’t contain it anymore and exploded their relationship.
‘Guys straight up, this is a lot,’ he bean, telling everyone at breakfast: ‘Obviously, we’ve got three people on the line here, I love you all, Alex isn’t a traitor straight up, she’s my girlfriend.’

The rest of the group – particularly Matt, who bursts out crying – were in shock and continue to question the couple’s credibility, eventually deciding to ‘banish’ Tom from the castle.
But are the couple still together now, months after filming wrapped on the addictive series?
Tom, from Buckinghamshire, revealed that they are indeed still going strong, although Alex is having to fend off admirers in her DMs.

Tom explained to the RadioTimes.com: ‘Everyone’s mentioned that! She’s getting so many DMs from so many guys! There’s been a DM that was like, “Ah, you and Matt are such a better couple than you and Tom,” and it actually gives me so much clarity that people at home actually have no idea about us. It makes me a bit happier that they’re saying this.
‘But non-stop, everyone’s asking, “Are you still together? Are you still together?” And we are – but we always have been. We’ve gone through worse.’
Tom also said he wasn’t too concerned watching Matt flirt with Alex as he’s ‘used to seeing it’ IRL.

He continued: ‘He is obviously gorgeous, I can happily say how gorgeous he and Aaron are. Those two are both fit. It’s so hard. But ultimately, I trust her. We go on nights out – you think that she doesn’t get hit on? I’m so used to seeing it. But I’m very comfortable in our relationship, we’re both very comfortable and both very trusting.
‘So that’s why actually if one of us was a Traitor and one of us was a Faithful, I would struggle to believe that we wouldn’t be able to read it from each other. We know each other so well.’
The Traitors continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One.
