You can earn a bunch of free cosmetics by simply tuning in to the Apex Legends category on Twitch.
Apex Legends is handing out freebies over the course of five days, so you can go into the new year with fresh skins for your characters and weapons, among other things.
As Season 15 is set to become the longest one ever, the game is currently going through a dry spell, even with the Wintertide collection event still underway.
If you’re looking to shake things up, why not try collecting as many cosmetics as you can before Season 16 kicks off around Valentine’s Day?
How to claim the Apex Legends Holiday Twitch drops
The process of unlocking these freebies is quite simple, as you simply need to watch qualifying streams on the days the Twitch drops are released.
For example, if you want the ‘Singularity’ Bloodhound skin, you’ll have to watch three hours of streams on Friday, December 30 to unlock it. All the streams under the Apex Legends category on Twitch qualify.
Before you start watching those videos, make sure you’ve linked your EA account to your Twitch profile, as that doesn’t happen automatically.
You’ll simply need to enter your EA account info on the ‘Connect with Twitch screen’ and click the next button. You’ll be met with a few simple steps, though it shouldn’t take you more than five minutes.
Loading screens will be available within the first consecutive hour of viewing, gun charms/holosprays within the second hour, and finally character/gun skins within the third hour.
You’ll see your rewards in-game within 24 hours of the event the next time you log in.
