Walking away with a huge £150,000 on Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win has left one contestant in tears as he and his friend revealed they would be spending their winnings on fertility treatment and a family home.
Taking risks paid off from Connell and Michael from Belfast, who started Saturday night’s episode with 23 lives and £100,000 in the bank.
When asked by hosts Ant and Dec what their ‘ideal’ amount to win would be, they revealed they were aiming high and wanted to work towards £1,000,000.
After answering their first question of the episode, they lost nine lives, but decided to keep pushing through, saying they were ‘only here once’.
They then were thrilled to be posed a question they knew the exact answer to—‘How many James Bond films has Daniel Craig starred in?.
Their correct answer of five saw them move up the ladder and add another £50,000 to their total.

Ant McPartlin was clearly impressed, saying: ‘You two have us shaken and stirred the way you play this game.’
But the following three questions saw them start to lose lives.
When asked about how many countries Brazil had borders with, they were sure they had the right answer, but after it became clear they were at risk of losing everything they had worked for, they chose to cash out.
As it became clear just how much money they’d manage to secure though, Connell started to tear up, before the hosts asked the pair what they would be spending their winnings on.
Michael revealed his share would be going towards fertility treatment with his wife, while Connell said he wanted to use it to help buy a bigger property for his wife and their daughter and dog.
As they chatted backstage afterwards, they discussed how they were happy to be walking away with such a ‘massive amount of money’.
The gameshow offers contestant an endless money ladder, which they must climb by answering numerical questions correctly.

However, the catch is to remain in the game they are not allowed to answer with a number over the correct answer, or run out of lives.
Players lose lives if they submit a number lower than the correct answer, with the amount of lives taken off being the difference between their answer and the correct one.
Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win continues on ITV at 8.30pm on Saturday.
