Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly left I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers in stitches with a reference to an iconic meme.
Fans were waiting for it all series and, finally, on the penultimate day, the Geordie duo greeted Lioness Jill Scott in the only acceptable way.
Of course, ‘Why hello, Jill’, was made famous by chef Ainsley Harriot on This Morning, as he greeted a very surprised competition winner.
So, when the former football pro entered the trial clearing to take on Celebrity Cyclone, Ant and Dec delivered what the people wanted.’
‘Why hellooo, Jill!’, the Geordie duo exclaimed, and Jill was quick to catch on.
‘Good one,’ the sporting star laughed.
Of course, the reference did not go unnoticed by viewers at home, who were quick to dig out the Ainsley gifs.
‘What a throwback to one of the best TV moments’, one fan said.
‘Why hello Jill just never gets old, does it?’, laughed another.
‘That why hello Jill was incredible’, tweeted a third, while a fourth penned: ‘Omg not ant and dec saying why hello jill’.
Ainsley himself has previously spoken about the famous quote, which was said as the ITV daytime show surprised a pensioner at her home on Mother’s Day, live on air.
The cherry on top, though, was Ainsley arriving after Alison Hammond to cook Jill a ‘treat dish,’ prancing through the door waving a frying pan and greeting her with the now viral line.
Ainsley admitted he had ‘no idea’ just how big his meme had become, with Greg James then playing him a compilation of clips on Radio 1, after fans recorded their own versions.
‘Everyone’s just loving it aren’t they?’ Ainsley said. ‘Well, thank you guys, what can I say? You have that one little moment of joy and it spreads so much joy everywhere.’
Indeed it does, Ainsley, indeed it does.
And there was certainly a lot of joy for Jill and her campmates after they completed the famous Celebrity Cyclone.
Jill, Matt Hancock, Mike Tindall, and Owen Scott were pelted with foam and bouncy balls while trying to make it up the course and secure their stars in the trial everyone wants to do.

As well as winning four meals for camp, the foursome also earned choc ices, with the latest World Cup scores written on the sticks.
Now, that’s a successful day out!
The final of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs tomorrow on ITV.
