Former world heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr appears to have had his Twitter account hacked with a number of shocking allegations made against the Mexican.
The now-deleted tweet claims Ruiz loves to ‘drink codeine and smoke weed every day’ before having his ‘blood cleaned’ in order to past Vada (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) testing while preparing for fights.
The tweet also shared a video of the 33-year-old dancing with what appears to be two sizeable bags of marijuana and alleges he ‘loves purchasing prostitutes’.
The tweet read: ‘I wanted to share with you what my life behind camp is really like! I love to drink codeine and smoke weed all day long.
‘I also love purchasing prostitutes. After this is going on Meetings to clean my blood to make sure to come out clean when Vada comes to my training camps.’
Ruiz Jr shocked the boxing world when he knocked out Anthony Joshua in the summer of 2019, taking the IBF, WBO and WBA heavyweight titles in the process.
Joshua took back the world titles in their rematch six months later, with Ruiz fighting just twice since then, recording wins over Chris Arreola and Luis Ortiz.

His September 2022 win over Ortiz was an eliminator for the WBC title which is currently held by Tyson Fury.
Ruiz was one of the names in the frame to fight ‘The Gypsy King’ this summer but Frank Warren, Fury’s promoter, suggested last week the former champion had priced himself out of the fight.

In a series of social media videos on Thursday, Fury claimed Ruiz had demanded £16million for the fight, which promptly saw negotiations end.
I’ve tried to fight everybody. Andy Ruiz has asked for $20m, silly little b*****d.
‘I don’t know where he’s getting that from. I’ve not fought since December, through no fault of my own.
