If you’re a longtime Mis-Teeq fan then, we hate to break it to you but, a reunion is just not going to happen.
Consisting of Alesha Dixon, Su-Elise Nash and Sabrina Washington, the girl group shot to fame in the early 2000s, going on to release hits such as debut single Why and the banger that is Scandalous.
Just last year, Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha, 44, marked the band’s 20th anniversary, and said she would ‘never say never’ to getting back together.
Sadly, fast forward to now, and the pop star has crushed fans’ hearts by admitting it’s ‘never going to happen.’
Appearing on Loose Women, the TV judge recalled travelling Down Under recently to film Australia’s Got Talent with David Walliams.
While there, she met up with her bandmate Su-Elise and shared a snap to Instagram, serving fans with a serious bout of nostalgia.

Alesha told the Loose Women how lovely it was to have their children playing together in the real ‘full circle’ moment.
‘She’s so happy down there, because it’s sunny all the time, and yeah, she’s got no plans to come back, I don’t blame her,’ she said.
‘It was lovely to catch up and we just could not believe how much time has passed.’
When quizzed by the panel on whether the girls discuss a reunion, Alesha responded: ‘We do but, honestly, it’s not going to happen.

‘I mean, she lives in Australia, for a start, and all of us are juggling a lot.’
‘I’ve only got one day off and I have a three-year-old attached to me for the whole of that day,’ laughed the mum-of-two.
Her comments come after she told Metro.co.uk in 2021 that, while the band had no official plans, they were at least open to doing something together again, but that dream for fans appears to have been short-lived.
‘We haven’t discussed a reunion if I’m honest. We do talk, we do communicate and we’ve always said never say never,’ she said at the time.

‘There’s nothing in the works right now. Su-Elise announced that she’s having a baby so she’s gonna be pretty busy with that for a while.’
The Boy Does Nothing hitmaker was catapulted to stardom in the group before becoming the TV judge and children’s author today.

Mis-Teeq achieved two top-ten albums and seven consecutive top-ten singles, with chart-topping success on the UK Singles Chart as well as across Europe, Asia, Australasia and the US.
Alas, if you’re still hanging onto hope for a reunion, you might be better having your own Mis-Teeq concert with a hairbrush in front of the mirror.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
