A hunt saboteur left badly bruised after being hit by a car has vowed to continue her campaign to stop illegal hunting.
Lisa Jaffray – who protests at events across the country – was struck by the vehicle on October 25 in Knossington, Leicestershire.
The mum-of-three is a volunteer with the Hunt Saboteurs Association, which uses ‘sabotage’ as a means of direct action to top illegal fox hunting.
Lisa, who lives in Cambridgeshire, was hurt as she ‘sabbed’ at a meeting of the Cottesmore Hunt.
Saboteurs filmed the moment she fell off the road after she was struck by a grey vehicle.
Police later arrested a 59-year-old local woman in connection with the incident.
Lisa, 41, said: ‘I remember that I was on the floor in pain – there is a gap where I don’t remember anything.
‘I was in complete shock and shaking head-to-toe.’

Doctors later found severe bruising across parts of her body.
She avoided any significant injury but has struggled to walk without intense pain since the incident.
Leicestershire Police has arrested a 59-year-old local woman on suspicion of attempted wounding with intent.
A spokesman from the force said: ‘A woman has been arrested following a collision in Knossington on Tuesday morning (25 October).
‘Police were called to Braunston Road shortly before midday following a report a woman in her 40s had been struck by a car – a grey Mercedes.
‘The victim was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries that were not life-threatening or life-changing.
‘She has since been discharged and officers are in regular contact with her.
‘A 59-year-old woman, from Knossington, was arrested on suspicion of attempted wounding with intent. She has since been released under investigation.’
Despite her injuries, Lisa says she will continue to volunteer as a hunt saboteur and campaign against the ‘smokescreen’ she claims groups use.

The 41-year-old said: ‘I have a love of animals.
‘It’s not just the fact we’re all vegan, it’s about any animal that’s killed for sport that we feel so passionately about.
‘Trail hunting is a smokescreen that’s been used since the fox hunting ban came into law in 2004.
‘Hunts are still allowed to hunt a trail, which is a rag soaked in a certain scent.
What is a hunt saboteur?
The Hunt Saboteurs Association (HSA) is a United Kingdom organisation that uses hunt sabotage as a means of direct action to stop fox hunting. It was founded in 1963, with a first sabotage event at the South Devon Foxhounds on Boxing Day of that year.
Hunt sabotage is the direct action that animal rights activists and animal liberation activists undertake to interfere with hunting activity.
Anti-hunting campaigners divide themselves into hunt saboteurs and anti-hunt monitors to monitor for cruelty and report violations of animal welfare laws.
‘It’s supposed to be put all over the area so the dogs can pick up on the hunt but I’ve only been to one hunt where we didn’t see them hunting a fox.
‘I’ve seen foxes running for their lives and terrier men on quadbikes with their dogs in boxes – you’d only have them with you for one reason.’
Hunting groups have been vocal in their criticism of sab groups and their disruption tactics.
The Hunting Office – responsible for the administration of hunting across Great Britain – writes on its website: ‘Due to the persistent spurious allegations from our opponents that hunts are not Trail Hunting, the presence of Saboteurs trying to intentionally disrupt the legal activities, Hunts record and keep evidence of their Trail Laying and files are kept of the day’s activities.’
